Im developing this project since january, so here are the results. Here Its the extruder mechanism I used an MK8 extruder with neumatic coupler, because every jam or material load the TCP move so I use it on the wrist to avoid this. So the next step was the parameters for soldering, so on the AR4 HMI I use the TCP lineal speed at 2mm/s and 1arc/s at extruder for the speed so the results were very great A good soldering And ejoying a good soldering platform Thanks @chris annin for the AR4 project, now Im developing the way to make very cool channel letters

hey @Chris Annin, its possible to change the TCP reference? I have been researching about TCP references, and assuming the base as the zero coordinate, the travel track does not change the positions values, which is how AR4 is programmed. However, if I want to work with the world as the reference axis, in this case, the worktable as a base, the values of the 'X axis' need to change too. Is it possible to change this in the Teensy or can it be done in the AR software?

hey @Chris Annin is it possible control only the acceleration and deccelration of the J7 axis? my Build its a nema 23 with lead screw but it move to slow compare with the joint move. there is any chance to only control these features for J7 or any idea to increase speed only for this motor?

Hey @Chris Annin, can you help me? Do you think it is better use ROS or roboDK for welding task. Im planning use DXF file to make the "toolPath" I already installed RoboDK and I know tath alows me to use DXF files but I get that the AR4 driver it is still in development but the post processor it is ok? I can´t use it because the free liscense dont allow me to post process a toolpath so I can verify if the post processor works ok to use it in offline programming, do you test the post processor of robodk? In the other hand I already installed ROS with the github in third party option, using the AR3 progmam it works fine but in movelt I didnt found more information of how to progam task, I have travel track and dont let me added in ROS can you help me with recommendation of what to do, or given me infromation about AR4 pos procesor in roboDK so I can buy the licesnce with trust. Hey, here its my AR4, planning to control with RoboDk Another: I bought the complete kit in US and I shipped to Ecuador, ,everething its perfect. I thinks its a better way to rout the cables, I will post more about this later This is the enclosure So, soon I will posting videos conecting to RoboDk Please @Chris Annin if you can make a video conecting robodk with AR4 robot we will aprreciet it Thanks for the project

I talked with RoboDK for the AR4 Driver and they sent me this file, I will try to use it and also said this driver is compatible with Travel Track, so here it is the driver and the guide to how to install it Robot Drivers - RoboDK Documentation Student licenses have all the features of Professional Licenses. No need to do any extra on the license or payment. The AR4 linear movement commands behind the scene look like this : MLX286.83Y0.13Z438.45Rz179.98Ry0.00Rx179.98Tr0Sp25Ac10Dc10Rm50WF. The Tr0 is what command the rail position, so you can try to add a value to the Tr in the driver. Actually its 0 by default.

Hi Chris @Chris Annin, I recently build and AR4 with travel track and I'm going to weld using robodk, it is possible to make a tutorial connecting this to RoboDK direct? Im trying but I'm stuck. Please help us thank you
