Robotic gripper

I finally got a 3D printer and I was looking for the files for printing the gripper part that attaches to the air gripper. Are they included in this project?

I had not included those but I can add them with the next update. I i will email you the jaw file I have.

Thanks I got your email. I realized when reviewing your 3d print for it, it appears I got a smaller gripper part than you did. So I think I might need to either order a bigger one or build the part myself to match the one I have.

I printed the part out and it fit on the actuator. The actuator has different drill holes than the part it is supposed to mount to but I think this was due to me acquiring an incorrect sized actuator.

I purchased the SMC gripper but I am not able find the m3 fittings. Do you hsve any recommendations? Also, could you advise on how to connect the air compressor?

In the past I’ve gotten all my small fittings from Festo or SMC website.

Hi there, would it be possible to email me a copy of the gripper 3D print files as well? Thank you!

I would like the 3d print files as well. Thanks!

I just added the jaw to the step files download. let me know if you find it OK

I downloaded the step files from the link in my receipt but don't see the jaw added.

  • I read the build manual for the AR3 robot and found that during the build for the control box there is nowhere in the BOM does it mention the 5v PSU used in the build. Any specific PSU you'd recommend or any 5v PSU will work?
  • Hey Chris, is there a minimum screen resolution for ARCS? it wont dynamically adjust to my screen size that is 1366x768.
  • Hi Chris, I've purchased all the parts to upgrade my AR2 to AR3 but have run into a issue right at the start. Your AR3 Robot Manuel shows additional mounting holes for the encoders on the back of the steppers. My steppers do not have additional mounting holes in the back. I'm assuming that I need to drill/tap these myself? I don't see anywhere in the instructions where it directs me to do this... I'm also confused on the length of the shaft out the back... mine all seem short. The instructions included with the encoder are pretty basic and do not really help to solve this issue. Thanks!
