Anyone have any tips to reduce play in the J3 joint? With the robot on and the motors energized I can manually move the J3 joint at least 5 degrees or so. Did I maybe not tighten the bearing set screws enough? I'm not entirely sure how much is due to the sprockets slipping a bit on the shafts and how much is due the motor gearbox itself.

Hey Chris, do you sell any of the aluminum parts individually? I had a sprocket get stuck on the J6 housing, and I couldn’t remove it without damaging the housing. So I wanted to see if there was a way I could get just that J6 housing, if that’s at all possible

In trying to secure the J5 motor to its motor mount I’ve had an issue with the screws. The M3 x 14 socket head cap screws listed on the assembly instructions only protruded about 2mm from beneath the motor mount. As a result I tried to tighten a couple of them they stripped out the top threads of the tapped holes, since all the force was only on the top two threads or so. I‘ve ordered some sightly longer screws from McMaster-Carr, so hopefully that’ll do the trick. Is that an issue with the depth of the machined holes in the motor mount in my particular kit, or is it just that the screws should be slightly longer?

I’m having trouble figuring out how to remove the keys from the motor shafts. As I don‘t have a way of machining the sprockets to fit with the keys I’ve opted to remove them. What’s the best way you’ve found of doing that?
