Thread pitch of screws and bolts in hardware kit

    in Questions

    Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know what is the pitch of the threads of the metric screws and bolts in the hardware kits? I looked online but found conflicting information with the pitch varying based on several different factors (such as being fine or coarse threads).

I don’t know, but m3, m4... seems all quite standard. as long as same standard, no matter what kind of head it compatible with each others.

I can't confirm it with 100% certainty as I don't have the kit yet. Usually(at least in Europe) when there is no pitch specified it's course pitch. So my guess they are all course threads and also after looking at the pictures of the kit they seem course threads to me.

    Pitches for coarse threads are

    M3x0.5mm

    M4x0.7mm

M5x0.8mm (not used in this kit/just for reference)

    M6x1.0mm

    M8x1.25mm

I hope this helps you out.

    Hi hamzakhan76,

I received my kit and can confirm that the pitch of the threads are as I specified before.
