After assembling and testing (encoders, limit switches etc..) the ar4 is able to move each of its motors fully without any problems. but when i try to jog the x,z,y directions i get the error position out of reach, this also happens whenever i try to teach it a position or call a program(only the programs home and rest work for some reason??).
after full callibration of the ar4 the error will still show up
i hope its just a button a missed, but i cant seem to find it.
any help is very apreciated and with thanks in advance
what do i use
ar4 full build kit
ar4 software V4.4 (also tested with V5.0)
teensy sketch V4.4 (also tested with V5.0)
Finding the best laptops for students involves balancing performance and budget, particularly for those attending gaming design schools where high-end graphics and processing power are crucial. A reliable laptop enhances creativity, supports intensive software, and helps students meet project deadlines without technical issues, making it an essential tool for academic and design success.
I am getting something similar. I’ve been able to avoid it by moving the robot away from the homing position using joint moves. I think J4 can’t decide which way to go and sometimes moves too far triggering the out of position error.
Maybe try jogging the joints to a random position and then try to jog the x,y.z axis
