AFFORDABLE OPEN SOURCE ROBOTICS

The Annin Robotics AR2 is a 6 axis robot that can be build using aluminum components or it can be made using 3D printed components.  The 3D models, operating software and construction manuals are all free on our downloads page.



GOAL:

I have a passion for robotics. I’ve always wondered why robots have to cost more than $30K and I wanted to bring a lower cost option to the table to afford the rest of us the opportunity to experience and play with 6 axis robots.

​FUTURE:
The AR2 robot is the second generation 6 axis robot I have designed, I hope to continue software development and move forward with my next design which will be a much larger and stronger robot and keep the design simple and affordable.
