Is it possible to speed up the motors further apart from the settings on the software? For example by changing some values in python source file or in sketch file. PS: I set the driver up as possible as low resolution.

For my project, torque of Joint 5 motor is not enough. This one: I need to increase torque . I think the best choice is using gear box. But the ball screw is inside of the motor. Can I stil adapt an planetary gearbox to the motor? Or any one have a suggestion to increase J5 tourque?

I am trying to use 2 channel relay module. with one channel relay, there is no problem, but with 2 channels it doesn't work properly. After working some while whether pneumatic valves start blinking(works and stops) or the ar4 software stops working. I tried 5 channel relay module and try to use 2 different relay module separately as well. Any idea? pneumatic valves wired with 24v. signals go 5v via arduino.

When I test encoders by powering the motors off, encoders work fine. But, when I power the motors on, at the test, J4, J5 and J6 start counting by itself automatically. (See video.) Why? 🤔 Aditionally, when I test jogging j4, j5 and J6 motors with encoders, I get "Collision or Motor Error". (No problem without encoders) What problems might be cause this? Note: I use AR4 Robot Complete Electric Package and Teensy 4.1 AR4 HMI interface 3.0 and 3.0 sketch

I built AR4. I use software and sketch version 3.0. When I try to check all joints and try to auto calibrate, joints don't stop when they reach to limit switch. They keep moving until they break down limit switches. But calibration works when I try to calibrate only one joint. Why they don't stop?

I am trying tı build AR4 in 3D printed files. I couldn't find J6 Housing STL file among the files downloaded. Should I use aluminium version for J6 Housing or is there any STL file I ca not find?

While calibrationing an axis, the arm goes back to the its position where it had defined as zero position. How can I change how long axis go back to position while calibration? I managed limit switch. I need to change/extend zero position of Joint 5 right after calibration. Where to changer this on the codes?

I turn off "Encoder Control" and force calibration to 0 (saved). Then I try to create MOVE J program without going to the out of the joint limits. (My custom robot doesn't have any limit switch.) I just want to make some tests. But I am offently getting "position out of reach" error while creating a program and the robot doesn't move. Why I am getting position out of reach error? :/

I met Annin Robotics after I started my own custom 6 axis robot arm project. So, I had almost finished my project. I wish I had met Annin Robotics before I started my own project. But, despite everything, I found a way to take advantage of annin robotics. BTW, lots of thanks to Chris Annin for creating AR series robot arm and made them available to everyone. Thanks to him I discoverd many things and found solutions ways to my issues. Maybe I couldn't have AR4 robot arm kits, but now I am trying to adapt the software to my own project. I got Teensy 4.1 and connect the robot through Teensy. I hadn't have a stepper motor with encoder. But now I have. I have replaced stepper with encoder one. And now trying to work the robot with it. If I can enable stepper with encoder, I will be very happy. :) Because it is different than AR4 structure, it pushes me. Secondly, in addition that, I am trying to connect the robot to RoboDK software. I have got AR4 beta driver from RoboDK and trying to use it. But couldn't be connected to the robot :/ Maybe someone of you can help me. This is my custom 6 axis robot arm. Now, it doesn't have any limit swtiches but I am working on: I am reading AR4 manual. :)

As I said in the title, How to connect AR4 on RoboDK? On connection to Robot window on RoboDK, I choose: Robot IP/COM: COM5 (This is my Teensy 4.1 port) Robot Port: 9600 (This is baud on Teensy Sketch) I cannot connect by this way. Is it correct?

Hi. I am trying to use AR4 codes and software on my custom 6 axis robot arm. I have tried the software and got good result. Motors works well. I wanted to get encoder value from stepper. But I think I souldn't have wired the cables correctly. Because I am getting "collision or motor error" on the software when I rotate motor. I am not sure how to wire encoder, which color of cables are different then showed at the manual. The question is: How can I wire encoder cable and test it? How can I be sure I have plugged the cables correctly? Note: Trying to wire J2 encoder for testing.
