Hello Chris and AR community. I'm pretty far along in my 3D printed build. I'm currently stuck getting the J6 motor into the J6 housing. The gearbox seems to be 35mm while the bore on the housing seems to be just over 32mm The bore seems to be almost 3mm to small. I started sanding my 3D printed J6 housing but that seems like way too much material to sand off. The bearing shafts on the J6 housing seem to be the correct size so it's not like the whole part is undersized. I believe this part was available for purchase on it's own as as upgrade for older robots but it seems to no longer be available. I'd love to purchase this part if it where still available.
Is it possible there's an updated STL file with a larger bore?

I think you are correct, it must not be seated down in far enough. It is a close fit for the motor sweeping past the housing.
Hello, The part in your photo appears to be the 32mm version from the MK1 or MK2. If you look in the MK3 downloads you should find a file "J6 Housing 35mm.STL" for the updated larger housing on the MK3 update. Please let me know if you have any trouble finding it, or if there is something I missed. If you would like an aluminum version please email me and I we can arrange an update kit for you info@anninrobotics.com
