I get a consistent 1.5V across my J3 homing sensor, not the 5V like I get on all the other sensors. I suspect it's measuring a voltage difference between the 5V source and 3.3v from the teensy board. (4.8v-3.3v = 1.5) Anyone know how this might have happened and if i have to replace my teensy board? i tried checking the various connections through the line down to the teensy board and i'm not seeing any obvious issues with the condition of the wires. I did just replace two other homing sensor on the machine (i bought this one used), but now i'm having this new issue but on a different joint.

Just so I understand completely you are getting 1.5v at pin 28 of your teensy board when the switch is made? Are you getting a solid GND on that pin when the switch is not made. You mention getting 5v like on the other sensors - all the limit switches NC terminal should be wired to 3.3v and NO terminal to GND so that every switch outputs 3.3v when made and GND when not made. 5v should only be run to the encoders.
